Confirm the Starting Point
5566VPN’s marketing pages and user panel run separately. This page explains the process; account, plan, subscription and client access are all available in the user panel at the site root. Before you begin, keep this guide open and use the button below to open the registration page. Return here after each stage to continue—you do not need to remember every setting at once.
Prepare a username and password you can keep safely for the long term. The service facts state that an email address is not required to create an account; your username and password are the credentials for the panel. Store the password separately and do not share it with your subscription link. The link grants access to the routes available to your account and should be protected like your login credentials.
Client installation and subscription delivery are handled through the user panel. This page does not provide static installation packages or display a real subscription address. That ensures you receive the entry point matching your account and platform. If you change devices later, return to the same panel for the client and subscription instead of creating another account.
Create an Account and Open the Panel
Click “Start Free” to open the registration page. Set a username and password; no email address is required. Choose a username that is easy to recognize but contains no password information, and use a password that is different from those on other sites. Submit the form. When the account overview appears in the user panel, setup is complete.
If registration leaves you on the login page, sign in with the username and password you just created. Once inside, confirm that the top of the page or account overview shows the current account, then choose a plan. There is no need to open the client yet because it needs an active subscription; completing the plan steps first helps prevent an empty route list or permissions that have not taken effect.
The same account manages subscriptions, client downloads, plans and support tickets. 5566VPN supports unlimited devices online at the same time, so you can use one account across your regular devices instead of creating separate accounts for each platform. During import, each device reads the subscription information for the account from its own client.
Choose a Plan Based on Your Data Needs
Open the Plans section in the user panel to see the monthly data tiers. The Light monthly plan is ¥9.9/month with 60GB, the Plus monthly plan is ¥18/month with 250GB, and the High-Usage monthly plan is ¥28/month with 500GB. Monthly data resets each month on the activation date. Choose mainly according to everyday usage; having more devices does not require additional accounts.
If you mainly use messaging, web pages and AI Tools, start with a lower data tier. If you regularly watch Streaming, sync large files or use multiple devices continuously, choose a higher tier based on actual usage. When upgrading, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days. If you prefer a total allowance instead of a monthly reset, check the Plans page for data packages that do not expire.
After choosing a plan, open checkout and verify the plan name, data allowance and amount. Select an available payment method—Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. After payment, return to the account overview and wait for the subscription status to become active. If the page remains on the checkout result, return to the overview and refresh the subscription details instead of creating the same order again.
5566VPN offers a 30-day hassle-free refund. This guide covers the main workflow; eligibility and the request process are defined in the formal Terms of Service. If you want to compare monthly subscriptions and data packages before ordering, read the pricing page first, then return to the panel to choose a plan.
Get Your Subscription from the Account Overview
Once the plan is active, open the account overview in the user panel. Find the subscription section, confirm that the status is active and check that the remaining data matches the plan you selected. Then use the page’s copy action to get the subscription link. Do not edit any characters in the link or paste it into a search box or public page.
A subscription link is not a regular web address. It lets the client read your route list and account permissions. The example below is for format demonstration only; the domain and token are clearly fake and cannot be used to connect:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
The real link appears only in the logged-in user panel. This page does not display or generate a real subscription address. After copying it, switch directly to the client for your platform, find the subscription import option and paste it there. This reduces the number of times the link passes through chat apps or temporary documents. If the client reports an invalid format, return to the panel and copy the complete link again; you normally do not need to add characters yourself.
The account overview is also the starting point for ongoing maintenance. Plan upgrades, data usage and subscription updates all begin there, so save the user panel address rather than only a link copied at one point in time. When changing devices, sign in to the panel again to get the current entry point and ensure you are using the subscription currently active on the account.
Import the Subscription by Platform
Open the client download area from the user panel and select the system you use. The client entry and subscription information obtained after login correspond to your current account. This page explains the import path only and does not provide direct installation links. After installation, open the client and follow the platform instructions below to add the subscription; do not enable an empty configuration before importing the routes.
Windows
In the client download area of the user panel, select Windows and follow the panel instructions to get the 5566VPN desktop client. Install and open it, then look in the sidebar or top menu for “Subscription,” “Add configuration” or “Import from link.” Paste the subscription link you copied, save it and run an update. When route names for regions such as Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the United States appear, the client has read the subscription successfully.
If the system asks for network access permission, confirm that the open app is the 5566VPN client obtained from the user panel, then follow the system prompt to allow access. After import, keep the default connection mode and avoid changing advanced routing or protocol settings immediately. Once the basic connection check passes, see the complete guide for split routing and everyday maintenance.
macOS
Select macOS in the panel and get the corresponding client entry. The first launch may ask you to confirm the app source and network extension permissions. Follow the system prompts, open the client and choose to add a subscription in subscription management. Paste the link into the address field and save it. Then click update and wait for the regional exit list to appear in the main window.
The macOS menu bar may show the client’s status entry, while the full route list is usually in the main window. If you see only the app icon and no routes after importing, reopen the main window and check whether the subscription was saved. Choose an exit in the target region to connect; there is no need to adjust system proxy details during first use.
Android
Open the Android client entry from the user panel, install it and launch the app. Go to the subscription or configuration page, choose to add by link, paste the subscription address copied from the panel and confirm the update. When connecting for the first time, Android displays a system-level VPN permission request. Confirm the app name and allow it so the client can create the network connection.
Some Android systems apply battery restrictions to apps running in the background for extended periods. If the connection stops soon after switching apps, allow the client to run reliably in the system’s app battery settings. The goal here is simply to prevent the basic connection from being paused; see the complete guide for detailed battery allowlists and troubleshooting.
iOS
Select iOS in the user panel and use the provided entry to open the corresponding client page. After installation, return to the panel and copy the subscription link, then switch to the client’s subscription management area and choose to add it from a link. Save and update it; the client will list the available regions. On the first connection, iOS asks to add a VPN configuration. Confirm the system prompt.
If you return to the browser after following the panel link, first confirm that the client is installed, then reopen it to complete the import. Do not enter the subscription link directly in the browser’s address bar, because the browser cannot create the route configuration for the client. A successful import is indicated by an exit list inside the client, not by a page opening in the browser.
Choose an Exit and Verify It Works
After the subscription update finishes, choose an exit based on the region of the service you want to use. For services in Japan, check the Japan exits first; for content in the United States, choose a US exit. Route names may also identify IEPL, relay or direct connections. There is no need to study every protocol on first use—choose a route that matches the target region and connects reliably.
Turn on the connection switch in the client. Once the status shows connected, do not switch rapidly between multiple exits. Reopen the target website or app and confirm that the page loads, the login flow works and the content region matches expectations. If the page was already open before connecting, close it and open it again to avoid results from the old connection cache.
Check two places during verification: the current exit name in the client and the actual result when accessing the service. If the client shows connected but the service has not changed, disconnect and reconnect, then confirm that the selected exit belongs to the target region. If it still does not work, update the subscription once or try another route type in the same region instead of editing the subscription link.
After connecting successfully, keep the current configuration through one complete usage session. When changing regions, disconnect first, choose a new exit and connect again so the status remains clear. For use cases for IEPL, relay and direct connections, plus differences between protocols and split-routing modes, read the 5566VPN complete guide; advanced settings are outside the scope of this page.
Save Your Access Points and Keep the Subscription Updated
After the first connection, everyday use mainly relies on three access points: the user panel, the client and the current subscription. Open the user panel to check data, change plans or get the client again; use the client to change regions and connect; update the subscription in the client when the route list needs refreshing.
If a route is temporarily unsuitable for the service you are using, update the subscription first and switch to another exit in the same region. Do not delete the account or repeatedly create new subscriptions. If no platform can read the subscription, open the support ticket area in the user panel and describe your system, the message shown in the client and the troubleshooting steps you have completed to help identify the issue.
The basic workflow is now complete: you can sign in, the plan is active, the client can read the routes and the target exit has been verified through actual access. For automatic connections, split routing, protocol selection or cross-platform maintenance, continue with the complete guide by topic.
